The Sapphire Coast is a stunning slice of the NSW Far South Coast. Our unique landscape stretching from the Southern Pacific Ocean, dotted with pristine beaches, soaring headlands and rugged escarpments, across lush, green farmland and quaint country towns, through pristine waterways and beautiful national parks.
Merimbula Lake Holiday Park provides the perfect base to explore everything the Sapphire Coast has to offer and to partake in the wide range of events that are held throughout the year.

The annual Pambula Show blends elements of what you would expect of a traditional country show with a family-friendly, carnival atmosphere. There is an extensive equestrian program, wood chopping, entertainment, farm animals and market stalls. Highlights reminiscent of the local area include local produce displays, arts and crafts, oyster shucking competition, pig racing and dog high jump.
Bega Cup Race Carnival Weekend
Enjoy a full weekend of racing action at the Sapphire Coast Turf Club. Free buses run to and from the track all day. Adults can partake in Fashion on the Field. Kids entertainment is run across the weekend.
Held each year in March, this outdoor exhibition sees large sculptural pieces dotted along Dickinson Point Headland and the foreshores of Dickson Point Headland. Indoor exhibitions are also held at the Bermagui Community Centre.
Four Winds Easter Festival
When: Easter Long Weekend
Set on Barragga Bay, just south of Bermagui, the Four Winds Festival attracts world-class musicians and performers into this purpose-built facility. Enjoy music, brilliance and beauty in an exceptional location.
EAT Merimbula Festival
When : March
The EAT Merimbula Festival is the Sapphire Coast’s premium food festival run each year to celebrate local chefs and produce. The quality is outstanding and there is always an emphasis on the region’s award-winning seafood and oysters.
Merimbula Jazz Festival
When : June
Jazz lovers unite for this seaside festival that attracts hundreds of musicians in a celebration of music across three days. Features of the festival include the Jazz Street Parade and Concert, Saturday night Jazz Quest and the late-night jam session which has the town rocking until well into the wee hours.
Tathra Beach and Bike Enduro
When : June
This mountain bike odyssey sees competitors ride through a mix of forest roads and deep tracks in the heart of Tathra’s wilderness country. The event is open to riders of all levels.
Eden Whale Festival
When: October / November
This annual event highlights the southern whale migration. The event includes a street parade, market stalls, food and wine, works from local artisans and live entertainment. It’s a great event for all ages.

This cultural festival celebrates traditional and contemporary Aboriginal dance, art, music, film, theatre and food. The Festival is held in Jigamy, just north of Eden.

Our caravan park offers extra large powered and unpowered campsites sites (10 metres x 10 metres), with and without slabs, most with views of the beautiful Merimbula Lakes. We are a pet friendly caravan park all year round (limit of one animal per site).
